When I was working in the workshop, I saw the magical lifting of the hand chain hoist, and I saw the structure of the foundry ladle in the foundry, I want to combine it. Wang Mingping, chief engineer of the Jinan Foundry and Forging Research Institute, encouraged me to delve into it.
I learned the teaching materials of Professor Meng Fanyu's ladle, knowing that the worm wheel ladle of the portable shaft should be self-locking in two directions; the hand chain hoist can only be locked in one direction, and the simple combination fails. An inspiration made me suddenly clear, conversion with two brakes. I drew a picture, let the worker made a physical model, the effect is ideal.
I contacted Professor Meng, he thought it was feasible, we have more than a dozen letters to contact. I calculated the position of the ladle shaft and the maximum torque, he was very cautious and he conducted a check calculation, and he laid the foundation. Professor Wang Weiti of Shandong University also recommended to the factory.

I applied for a patent for invention, and neither the United States, Britain, France, Japan, and Germany did, so I passed the novelty examination. I made three portable 2t spur gear ladle, a dozen safety ladle, and now they have been used for more than ten years, they did not say that there is a problem. Our factory moved from the ravine to Tai'an, it went bankrupt; in 2004, my child died of work injuries, I didn't have the energy and no strength, I had to stop.
